Tax-Privileged Purposes

Within the meaning of Sections 51 et seq. of the German Fiscal Code (AO), the Foundation exclusively and directly promotes the following charitable purposes:

• Promotion of science and research (Section 52, Paragraph 2, Sentence 1, No. 1 AO)
• Promotion of art and culture (Section 52, Paragraph 2, Sentence 1, No. 5 AO)
• Promotion of education, vocational training, and student assistance (Section 52, Paragraph 2, Sentence 1, No. 7 AO)

On May 27, 2026, the Koblenz Tax Office (Finanzamt Koblenz) determined that the Foundation complies with the statutory requirements pursuant to Sections 51, 59, 60, and 61 AO and is therefore authorized to issue donation receipts (certificates of tax-deductible contribution) for donations and membership fees allocated to these purposes.
